| Hi! I'm Mr B -- Short for Mr. Blooddrop. I came to Atlanta from San Francisco in 1999. Claudia adopted me at the AABB Annual Meeting there and gave me a home at Atlanta Medical Center. After over 4 years in Atlanta, we moved on to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the campus of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center where we lived for 3 years. Then it was back to Atlanta again for another 4 years. Now we are travelling again! Hi! I'm Claudia. I'm a Medical Technologist with a Specialist in Blood Bank (SBB) certification. I am serving in the laboratory aboard the Africa Mercy, the largest non-governmental hospital ship in the world, operated by Mercy Ships, an international, non-denominational Christian charity. Mercy Ships volunteers raise their own support so that general contributions can be used for direct patient care, community development programs, and other costs associated with Field Service initiatives.
